The Proactiv 3 Step System

Proactiv is made up of three products, which should all be used twice daily for maximum results.  The first product is the renewing cleanser, which is a medicated face wash. 

Next, is the revitalizing toner.  The toner is applied with a cotton swab or face pad.  It works in combination with the renewing cleanser to remove dirt and excess oil from the skin.  

Finally, there's the repairing lotion.  The lotion contains benzoyl peroxide, which kills the bacteria that causes acne.
 
The 3 step system works well by itself, but the refining mask and green tea moisturizer work great as well.

This 4pc kit also comes with the refining mask.  The refining mask treatment contains sulfur, which is another medication proven to effectively treat acne.  The mask should be used 2 to 3 times per week as part of the 3 step system. 

Better still, the refining mask can be used as an emergency over night spot treatment.
